Calculate your take-home salary after tax and deductions across multiple countries.
A salary calculator estimates your take-home pay after income tax and statutory deductions, based on your country of residence. The same gross salary can result in very different net pay depending on whether you live in India (progressive slabs), the UK (PAYE), the US (federal + state), or the UAE (zero income tax).
Use a salary calculator before accepting any job offer or relocation to understand your real disposable income. Many people focus on the gross figure on the offer letter, only to find their actual take-home is 20–35% lower after tax. The number you can actually spend each month is what matters for budgeting and quality of life.
Inputs: Gross annual salary: ₹15,00,000 · India (New Tax Regime, FY25-26)
The New Regime has lower slab rates but no deductions (except standard deduction of ₹75,000 and NPS). The Old Regime allows HRA, 80C, 80D, home loan interest, and other deductions. If your total deductions exceed roughly ₹3.75 lakh, the Old Regime is usually better; otherwise the New Regime wins. Run your numbers in both before choosing.
This calculator estimates income tax only. Employee Provident Fund (12% of basic) and Professional Tax (state-specific, typically ₹200–2,500/year) further reduce your monthly take-home. Add them separately. Note that PF is forced savings — it goes into your retirement account, not the government.
